1848 10d brown, die II, in an incomparable and simply stunning block of 16, good margins mostly all round (just touched in a few places) large part original gum and displaying lovely fresh colour; some creasing as to be expected of a multiple this size, though in no way detracting from the fine appearance of this incredibly rare block which is one of the most spectacular rarities of British Philately (S.G. £300’000 as 4 blocks of four).
