1841 (Jun 21) envelope from Sherborne (Dorset) to Andover bearing 1840 1d black pl.11 DE, with huge margins showing a portion of the adjoining stamp at left (horizontal crease through postage), just tied by black Maltese cross, and showing corresponding ds at front; a fine example of this rare plate; cert. BPA (2008) and Brandon (2022).
