1840 1d black pl.3 QB/TC mint block of eight, good to huge margins showing portions of neighbouring stamps and left, original gum with some insignificant thin spots and a few light tone spots, horizontal fold between upper and lower block, a stunning multiple of the difficult plate 3, with this being the largest multiple of plate 3 in private hands.Note: Illustrated in « The British Philatelist » October 1908 (included) when it was in a block of 12.Expertise: Cert.
