1867-1968 comprehensive mint and used collection neatly presented in an album, commencing with 1867 1d x 5, 6d x 2 and 1/- unused plus the 3 values used (and 6d in pair on piece), 1873 1/- used (Cat. £2500, very scarce), the 1881 and 1882 sets mint and used with 1882 2 1/2d in Plate 1 block of 9, 1889 2 1/2d in mint strip of 5 opt SPECIMEN and 1893 1/2d on 4d SG 68 mint and used, SG 69 in mint pair. The Ed VII issues include SPECIMENS with 1d, 2d, 2 1/2d and 1/- opt ULTRAMAR, with most KGV sets mint, used and SPECIMEN (with 1913 printer’s sample 3/- x 2). Some blocks also, including 1922 2/- in block of 12, a superb section of War Tax issues and most issues mint and used (noted 1938 set opt SPECIMEN) to 1968. A fine collection with catalogue value well in excess of £10’000, plus « Turks and Caicos Islands to 1950 » by Challis.
