ROSA MERKUR UNGEBRAUCHT, EINES DER SCHÖNSTEN BEKANNTEN STÜCKE1851, Rosa Merkur auf dünnem Papier, frisch und von deutlicher Farbe, allseits voll bis breitrandiges ungebrauchtes Exemplar (fein aufgezogener Nachgummierung) in tadelloser Erhaltung. Es sind nur ganz wenige einwandfreie ungebrauchte rosa Merkure erhalten geblieben, praktisch alle Stücke zeigen mehr oder wenige starke Schnittmängel. Laut der Forschung von Matthias Fukac gehört dieses Exemplar zu den schönsten bekannten, das Zgonc Exemplar mit vollen Originalgummi wurde für 180000€ gekauft (siehe S.58 seines Buches) und das schönste ohne Gummi für 150000€.
In ungebrauchter Erhaltung handelt es sich um eine der grössten Raritäten der klassischen Österreich – Philatelie und dies insbesondere in dieser Ausnahme Erhaltung. ANK 140000€

ROSE MERCURY UNUSED, ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL KNOWN EXAMPLES
1851, 30kr rose Mercury on thin paper, fresh and vivid in colour, a full to wide-margined unused example in immaculate condition. Only very few flawless unused rose Mercurys have survived, and virtually all exhibit more or less severe cutting defects. According to research by Matthias Fukac, this example is one of the most beautiful known. The Zgonc copy with full original gum was purchased for €180,000 (see p. 58 of his book), and the finest without gum for €150,000.
In unused condition, this is one of the greatest rarities in classic Austrian philately, especially in this exceptional condition. ANK €140,000
