1943 Registered airmail letter from Jeddah to Louisville, US, bearing a scarce 69 1/2g rate + the mandatory 1/8g hospital tax stamp. Franked by an impressive range of the 1934 Tughra issue (incl. 20g x2 and 10g x 2), all tied by bilingual Jeddah cds. Reg. label and pink Par Avion label on front, also Egyptian censorship label with accompanying censorship markings. An extremely scarce and complex cover in very fine condition, with only very few such covers recorded.
