Description
Crimea: 1856 envelope to Brighton, endorsed « Officers Letter » and at base « Penninsular, Beikos Bay, May 18th » franked vertical strip of three 1d red Stars tied by three generally fine ‘O*O’ handstamps in bluish-green, reverse missing most of backflap with full red Post Office British Army date stamp; ex K Tighe and Piat Dewavrin.
