SPECIMEN (mostly type 9), incl. 4 unappropriated die proofs (1875 1/- in green and 1875 10/- in orange, 1872 8d lilac and 1888 6d green), then various incl. 8d Bankruptcy, 6d Contract Note, £2 Chancery Fee (Ireland) and Isle of Man surcharged 4d, the larger type with 1/-, 2/- and 10/- Bankruptcy, 2/- and 5/- surcharged Consular Service, also 1873 3d and 6d Pedlar’s Certificate etc. A superb lot, very difficult to replicate.
