1862-64 4d bright red OG pl.3 without hair lines and pl.4 TA with hairlines both with « SPECIMEN » type 2 overprint, OG with trimmed wing margin, mint part o.g., fine condition, both listed by Samuel as scarce with pl.4 TA type 2 thought to be the only known example in private hands; both ex Samuel (2003) (S.G. £1’000).
