Description

1858-76 2d blue SG pl.13 perf.14 on Dr. Perkins paper with partial « SPECIMEN » overprint, unused (traces of gum), toning on reverse, very scarce, listed but unpriced by SG (S.G. Spec G3x.). Note: The Perkins « SPECIMEN » overprint is not listed in Gibbons or Huggins.

Only 7 examples recorded by Graeme Sherman in his article in the GB Journal vol.6 no.3. pp.62-68, and one other unrecorded by him (lot 10029).
