Lot 32071 – 1864 (Mar 30) envelope to Stradbally, Ireland franked

1864 (Mar 30) envelope to Stradbally, Ireland franked 24c. with bar cancel and cds at left but was overweight and the value of the stamp ignored and the New York Exchange Office applied a 42 cents handstamp (Apr 2), Piltown arrival backstamp, manuscript « Due 24 » at top which is in similar ink and style to the « 2/- » collected in Ireland with postman’s date of 21/4/62; some small staple holes and crease at base.
