Stampless printed matter entire from a Shipping Agent in Montreal, 6 March 1852, with a clear strike of the red circular “PAID AT MONTREAL 1”, routed via Darlington (backstamp), 14 March, to Bowmansville.
A very fine and scarce example of early printed matter usage in Canada.
