Rose on Newspaper Wrapper½d. rose affixed on the front page of the Globe (Toronto) newspaper dated 2 April 1858, tied by “13” numeral cancellation of Galt, addressed to Dundas.A fine example illustrating the ½d newspaper rate for printed matter mailed by individuals not exceeding 3 oz, introduced 1 August 1857.
