Lot 11560 – 1922 1/2d grey and black in complete sheet of sixty

1922 1/2d grey and black in complete sheet of sixty mint n.h., including the ‘Broken mast’ (2/1) and ‘Cleft rock’ varieties but lacking the ‘Torn flag’ flaw, which, along with the brown gum, identifies this sheet as being from the scarce 1936 printing. There is a little separation in two places along the upper row, the right margin is present but detached and the upper left margin is missing. Sheets from this issue are increasingly hard to come by and the 1/2d, from this printing, is a rarity.
