1950 (8 Oct) red band envelope from the 18th Branch, 2nd Field Army showing the red star free post handstamp, manuscript dated across back of cover and posted by the 18th Branch on 12th Oct, transiting through Chengdu (24 Oct) arriving at Wenshui (29 Oct). A very rare cover sent during the decisive Chamdo Campaign (7 to 24 Oct), in fine condition for a campaign cover and the only recorded example. Vente aux enchères
