Lot 60607 – 1937 2tr perforated internal registered cover

1937 internal registered cover from Lhasa to Shigatse bearing single franking perforated 2tr tied by Lhassa type VII cancel, manuscript date July 1937. a tear runs through much of the stamp, unfortunate as this is both a rare dated cover, very rare cancel that was never usually used on commercial mail and a scarce 2tr rate item.
