1854 (8.2) Postal order (Inam): Decorative, pre-printed form requesting Casa Postelor (Post House) to release four horses for travel from Jassy to Fokshani for the benefit of the Administration. It bears a large, ornate oval black seal showing Moldavian coat of arms and reading ”Principality of Moldavia, Administrative Council 1849” – very fine, attractive and scarce. Atop of the document there is a manuscript notation reading” This Inam having been used was passed through Treasury and sent to the Controller for investigation” and signed Cararescu

The post house shall release four horses to the presenter (of this ticket) for travelling from Jassy to Fokshani for the benefit of the Administration and back with payment of progon from the Treasury.
