Gupta Empire, Kumaragupta, c. 415-455, AV dinar, 8.13 g. (20 mm). Obverse: ‘horseman’ type, king riding horse right, circular Brahmi legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi sitting facing left on stool, holding long-stemmed lotus and feeding peacock, Brahmi legend at right, Ajitamaheendrah. Kumar TOTGE 2024, Class III, variety A.VF-EF, well-defined features and an exceptionally well-struck coin with superb details and clear legends on both sides; one of the finest we have seen.Ex Chand Collection 2.3.04
