Sasanian Kingdom, Bahram I, 273-276, AV dinar, 7.93 g. (22 mm), Ctesiphon mint. Obverse: bust right, wearing diadem and radiate crown with korymbos, Pahlavi legend around. Reverse: fire altar; flanked by two attendants, the one on the left wears crown with korymbos, the other wears mural crown; on altar shaft, fravahr surrounded by three pellets. Extremely rare.
About EF, strong underlying lustre, light tooling on the right obverse field.
