1867–83 5s Pale Rose, Plate 2 Lower Marginal, Mint (Watermark MC)

A wonderfully fresh and most attractive example, this lower marginal mint stamp from Plate 2, on paper watermarked MC, retains part original gum, with a central gum disturbance and a small hinge remainder noted for accuracy. The stamp displays excellent colour and clarity, with strong overall presentation.

A highly desirable classic high value, seldom encountered in such appealing condition.
