1933 Alliance Centenary 1a black on green tied to 1933 Christmas card from the Nawab Ruler of Bahawalpur by « SADIQ-GARH / BAHAWALPUR » 27 OCT 33 double circle ds, very fine and extremely rare usage. Only three examples are known used on cover (Isani & Hussain, £10’000).
Note: See introductory text in the G.G. catalogue. They mention one cover which was in the « Hyphasis » collection sold by Prestige Auction in Oct. 2005 which sold for A$9775.
