1837 letter from Griqua Town via Cape Town to London with fine strike of « Cape of Good Good Hope / General Post Office » SE 23 1837 crowned oval cancel, with ‘2’, ‘8’ and ‘2/4’ rates added, ‘India Letter Portsmouth’ boxed arrival cancel. Some folds, soiling and peripheral faults but a scarce letter (from a territory yet to become Griqualand West).
