The Arthur Stokes collection of minor overprint varieties and flaws on the Thom Issue: An amazing study is the lifework of Arthur Stokes which was subsequently remounted and written up by Barry Cousins on 100’s of album pages. This collection is presented in six-ring binders and shows numeral flaws and letter flaws all on the Thom five-line overprint with values from 1/2d to 1s, the majority being on the 2d value, showing a vast array of date stamps from all parts of the country, including some multiples and a fine array of covers, an important work that will never be repeated (1000’s) (STC €15’000+)
