1784 (May 7th) Folded entire from Dublin to London, franked Free and endorsed by « B Sheridan », showing a circular London « FREE » and an unframed claret Dublin « FREE / D », fine and very scarce. One of the latest of the 5 usages so far recorded.Note: Richard Brinsley Butler Sheridan (30 October 1751 – 7 July 1816) was an Anglo-Irish playwright, writer and Whig politician who sat in the British House of Commons from 1780 to 1812.
