1837 (June 9″) Folded entire from Bahia, Brazil to London endorsed « p Trustee » and showing a framed « LIMERICK SHIP LETTER », rated « 2/- » and calculated as follows ship rate 8d + packet 2d + Menai Bridge 1d + circa 380 miles from Limerick to Dublin and Dublin to London via Holyhead under 400 miles 1/1d =2/-, very fine and scarce strike.
Note: A number of ports around Ireland were issued with framed two-line Ship Letter handstamps.
