Lot 10543 – Mexico 13c and 25c lithographed Mexico Name Only singles and multiples group

Mexico 13c blue and 25c orange lithographed « Mexico Name Only » group, incl. singles and blocks with a large multiple of 20 of the 25c (cert. Mepsi), 13c (21 unused and 2 used) and 25c (37 unused and 4 used). The used stamps are very scarce, and the 13c cancelled in Chalco is probably unique. These stamps without the consignment number but with the gothic Mexico overprint were issued in exchange for Eagle stamps at the beginning of the issue. 5,108 stamps of the 13c value were issued and 7,227 of the 25c. Large multiples are uncommon. NF $ 1,280 as singles.
