1773 (Jan 15). Entire letter from Cádiz (Spain) to Guatemala, endorsed “Aviso” at lower left, hs on dispatch with “España” straight-line in red. One of the very few letters known displaying the “Aviso” endorsement, denoting the exceptional
carriage by a chartered vessel. Provenance: Camino and Sitjà.
