Description
1843, 60r black, early impression, enormous margin at left with pane frame line, clear to mainly large elsewhere, cancelled by framed « MARICA. » hs in green (Ayres 1356). Very light corner bend outside the frame line, only mentioned for accuracy. Just nine « Bull’s Eyes » reported with this cancellation in green, this being one of two recorded for the 60r; an exceedingly scarce colour on this issue. Signed A.
