1871, 500 mon dark blue-green, plate 2, block of four from positions 21-22 / 29-30, rich colour and intense impression, uncommonly large margins for the great majority, unused without gum as issued. Small scissor cut between stamps at left and spot at top right of upper left stamp most probably natural origin, in no way detracting from this rare and appealing block. (JSCA ¥520,000).
