1871, 100 mon dark steel-blue, plate 1, earliest printing, a large margined example boasting a very unusual intense shade, tied to piece by the « head portion » of large « Kensazumi » postmark featuring three characters in Reisho script hs to piece.An extremely fine and unusual earliest-printing example, further enhanced by the rare « Eguchi » type cancellation (only three covers recorded).
