1926 (Aug). Cover flown from Rio de Janeiro to Montevideo, franked by 1924-32 200r vermilion-rose, tied by Rio de Janeiro cds and neat « AVIÃO « BUENOS AYRES » / =RAID= / New York-Rio de Janeiro-Buenos Ayres » framed hs in violet black. Only ten covers flown, a rarity of South American early airmails.

Note: Carried from Rio de Janeiro to Montevideo by the seaplane « Buenos Ayres », piloted by Bernado Duggan, E. Olivero and Ernesto Campanelli. According to the « El Correo Aéreo Rioplatense » handbook by Bousquet, the widow of Bernardo Duggan stated that ten covers were dispatched to Montevideo.
