1860ca. large part envelope to Barbados with 1852-60 Fifth Issue (1d) bluish grey strip of five, fine to large margins, tied by « 1 » numerals with « 4 »d and on arrival a further « 1 »d, faint « PAID / AT / TRINIDAD » crown circle ds, missing upper and lower backflaps, still an attractive and rare multiple on cover with impeccable provenance; ex Amundsen, Burrus, Cartier and Caspary (S.G. £3’000 as used singles).
