Paraguay: 1820-1898, Exhibition collection mounted on 80 pages, including some prephilatelic covers, the 1860 essays, 1870 a small plating study, 1870 1r rose on envelope to Corrientes (Scott 1 2000$), 1878 5c surcharge several used and mint examples, 1879-1881 various colour essays, perforation varieties, multiples, 1881-1884 surcharge « 1 » on 1 real rose a spectacular sheet reconstruction from the Benítez Ciotti collection, 1884 proofs, 1887 issue on cover to Buenos Aires, signed by the expert Peter Holcombe, a scarce usage of 1887 20c + 15c on cover to Berlin (signed Holcombe), 1889-91 engraved essay, various covers of the 1892-96 issue including one with postmark of « COLONIA NUEVA GERMANIA », a very rare 1890 OFICIAL overprint on 10c on cover from the « MINISTERIO DE RELACIONES EXTERIORES » to Buenos Aires (signed Holcombe), the collection ends with postal stationeries including illustrated ones.
