Greece: 1861-1875 Large Hermes Heads: Attractive mint and used selection on stockpages with over 240 stamps, starting with the rare 20L blue, provisional used with faults, cert. Holcombe (1988), the rest of the collection shows all values present from 1L to 80L mostly used, and the majority with good to large margins, some clear central cancels, shades, an a fine array of control figure varieties including 5 doubled, « 0 » for 10, « 00 » for 10, « 01 » for 10, missing 10, « 80 » for 20, « 02 » for 20, 20 inverted, 20 doubled, 40 superimposed over 20, better items included 1872-75 10L used with missing figures, cert. Holcombe, some multiples present from pairs to strips of four, plus 1862-67 1L on newspaper and a few covers etc., a wonderful lots for the connoisseur and excellent basis for studying the fascinating classic stamps (240+), many with certs. mostly from the RPS.
