Belgium & Belgium Congo: 1849-1990, Collection in two volumes of mint and used stamps. Belgium starting with the 1849 first issue with all periods including back of the book, to be mentioned an interesting very fine medaillon cover with perception numeral of 67 LE ROEULX. The Congo Belge section which is the strongest includes a fine 1886 5f used, a 1887 5f violet very fine used, several 5f grey, interesting by the choice of different postmarks, the Mols handstamped overprints, the 1918 red cross high values, 1922-1923 overprint varieties, 1908 the scarce postage due set ”TAXE” very fine used, and the 1909 set in VF, the scarce RUANDA or URUNDI handstamped overprints including several signed Grubben. The condition of the Belgium Congo collection is in general fine and the Belgium collection slightly more mixed.
