Argentina: 1892-95, « Tres Próceres », an extraordinary assembly comprising 120 proofs, with many composite die proofs, each including two, four or six examples, to be noted those comprising various denominations and one with no value, occasionally numbered with heading. Nearly half of the stock on sunk die cards, also with chalky-surfaced examples, others on thin or wove paper. A spectacular and unique lot, probably being the largest available of this kind.
