1896 (May 18) Greek Olympic Committee printed postcard in green sent to the Turkish Consul in Patras, with the Committee cachet in red, Athens « 1 » despatch cds and Patras arrival backstamp, some minor foxing, scarce and attractive, ex « Zappeion » (DF Nov 1999). Note: During the Games, the local Organising Committee postal correspondence was free of charge.
