1919 (April 5) Postcard from Adalia to Turin franked by Rhodes overprinted « Leoni » 10c, tied by « Posta Militare Italiana/Adalia » double circle, showing at left « 31° Battaglione Bersaglieri » unit cachet; the stamps and the handstamps were applied in Adalia and the correspondence was forwarded via courier to Rhodes for onward transmission to Italy. The earliest usage recorded of this cancellation, which was used during almost two months only.
