1901 (Aug 6) Japanese 4s stationery postcard from Peking to Italy, cancelled by « Peking/I.J.P.O. » cds, with Yokohama transit and arrival cds alongside; the sender indicates in the missive that « now the work has decreased and I have been assigned to the Command of the Expeditionary Corps together with Colonel Salsa ». This item demonstrates that in summer 1901the Command was located in Peking.
