1840 2d blue pl.1 AC-CL, the magnificent and unique vertical used strip of three from the upper right of the sheet showing Plate number « 1 » and part inscription « ove the Cement », with full deckle edge, and ample margins on other sides, neatly cancelled by three full strikes of the red Maltese Cross, A show stopping Exhibition piece and the most iconic used piece of this issue, incredibly rare being the only recorded multiple with plate number, ex Seymour, Shaida and Pichai, cert BPA (2010).
