Lot 50240 – 1869 15b vermilion in combination with 3b violet « TINTARENI » cds, rarest PO of the entire Romanian classics

1869 (Sept 12) Fragment bearing a mixed franking of the 1869 15b vermilion, used in combination with 1870 3b violet, both four margins, tied to small piece by rare star type A62 « TINTARENI » cds, forming the 18b rate for a simple domestic letter, this cancellation a great rarity; Tintareni is a small post office and one of the rarest of the entire Romanian classic philately (Heimbüchler = RR).
