1837 (April 17) Entire letter from Puerto Cabello to Marseilles (France) with oval « Restres & Co./St. Thomas » forwarding agent marking (unrecorded by Rowe) on reverse, carried via Bordeaux by the « Frédéric », with June 13 cds confirming this via and Marseilles June 18 arrival on back, boxed French « Pays d’Outremer » hs rarely used on mail from the Caribbean, charged with 10 centimes; cert.
