1871 Essays of Charles Skipper and East, London: 2pi. chestnut, composite proof comprised of three imperforate blocks, the top block of six shows the “Goddess of Plenty” specimen, the central block of six being the 2pi. “Sphinx & Pyramid” essay, bottom block of nine the “Imperial Eagle”, small thin at right and crease at lower right corner, a very rare exhibition showpiece.
