1912 (May-June) Cover carried locally at Patmos, franked by Italy 20c tied by bold strike of bilingual « MUNICIPIO LEROS/POSTE/DIMOGER LEROU » circle hs without date (Tchilinghirian-Bernardelli fig. 467), which was into use from mid may to late June 1912 only, during the operation of the P.O. by the Municipal Council in the very early period of the Italian occupation; a very rare legitimate usage.
