2d blue, horizontal pair, good to huge margins and showing portions of an adjoining stamp below, positions 43-44, cancelled or tied by oval bars cancel, on 1860 folded entire from Port Louis via Suez and Marseille to Bordeaux (France), with red maritime Suez transits and « 8 » decimes hs alongside, good colour, an extremely fine appearance

Rate: 4d overseas rate indicating a weight upto 1/2 ounce which is the correct postal rate from the Government Gazette of May 1st, 1859
