Winston Churchill signed photographic postcard showing a young adult Churchill seated in a half length pose behind his desk, photograph by J. Russell & Sons, and signed ‘Winston S. Churchill’ in fountain pen ink in the lower white border, crease in the lower right corner just affecting one letter of the signature, otherwise in good condition
British Prime Minister 1940-45, 1951-55. Nobel Prize winner for Literature, 1953. An early signed postcard photograph showing the young Churchill seated in a half length pose behind his desk. He rests his clasped hands on the top of the desk upon which appear several papers and a fountain pen. Photograph by J. Russell & Sons. Signed (‘Winston S. Churchill’) in bold, dark fountain pen ink with his name alone to the lower white border. A crease appears in the lower right corner, only just affecting one letter of the signature, otherwise in good condition.
