1859 Post Paid 1d. red-brown on bluish, two examples from positions 12 and 9, one cut into on two sides, otherwise margins ranging from complete to large, on folded printed matter from Port Louis to Bordeaux, tied by oval bars cancels and ‘8’ décimes charge hs, red French entry cds at left, backstamped with dispatch ‘G.P.O./DE8 1859/MAURITIUS’ and arrival cds’s, very slight wrinkle barely affecting position 12 at left, endorsed ‘Printed Pr. Ct. only’ at base denoting the 2d. overseas price current letter rate, this being the only example recorded demonstrating this usage
