POSTE EGIZIANE / ALESSANDRIA / 6 APR 1871, and cancelled V.R. POSTE EGIZIANE /ALESSANDRETTA / 10 APR 1871, also cancelled on arrival at Aleppo 11 April 71, Turkish postage due stamps were removed – probably 1 and 2 piastre, still an unusual and scarce usageProvenance : Kurt Wolfsbauer
