1899-1900 EMPIRE: The Imperial Postmarks of the Trans-Siberian Railroad (Chelyabinsk to Manchzhyriya): Attractive eight frame exhibit on 128 pages neatly presented and knowledgeably written up. The collection shows the rates, routes and representation of the postmarks with Siberia between Chelyabinsk to Manchzhyriya. The collection is arranged in such a way as to bring the viewer on a rail journey. The important items to note are the rarer odd numbered railroad lines, plus postmarks of the early construction period, especially the small stations (stantsiyas) and the postage dues (doplatits).
