Lot 40610 – 1869 Prince Carol 5b (2) and 10b (4) used together

1869 Prince Carol 5b (2) and 10b (4) used together on large part registered cover to BRASOV, tied by blue BUZEU 26/11 cds, framed RECOMANDAT on face, the whole pasted to card and stamps crossed by fold, a rare franking, cert. Heimbüchler (2004) which suggests that this unusual franking may have arisen due to a lack of 25b stamps at Buzeu.
